University of Ghana: Campus Tour

School of Nursing

Typical architecture.  The tents in the background are for a Sunday prayer meeting.

New Engineering building--it's huge.

New Law building, also very large.

Central campus

Lots of statues in Ghana.  Seems like a colonial artifact.

One of the many student residences on campus.  Traffic in Accra is so dreadful that living off campus isn't practical.  In Ghana everywhere you look you see people doing laundry--all by hand.

The night market (open all day) where we buy our produce and the very brave among us buy cooked food.

  1. Hey, I appreciate your writing. Ghana Campus offers access to an American-style advanced education. Accra is the capital of Ghana and a noteworthy center point in West Africa, with numerous social foundations, business central station, and showcases. It is one of the quickest developing urban communities in Africa, and has steadily growing alternatives for social investigation and nightlife.
